Joe Conway is the Director of Health Equity and Human Experience at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.  Joe has been in healthcare for over 15 years serving in various capacities from Environmental Services Director, Health Care Consultant and Lean Management Practitioner.  He has been recognized for being a Leader of Excellence in 2005 while serving at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Biloxi, MS.  Joe possesses his BA in Church Ministries and formerly served as a Pastor & Music Minister on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  Additionally, Joe obtained his Master's Degree in Healthcare Management in 2014 and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and New Hanover County NAACP.  His passion includes his wife of 26-years, his four boys, and his focus on building health equity in southeastern North Carolina.
