Jesse Bennett GED, BSW is a former drug user and a formerly incarcerated person.  He works as an outreach worker and statewide volunteer coordinator for the North Carolina Harm Reduction Coalition and, as such, he participates in and advocates for harm reduction efforts in the community. These efforts include but are not limited to access to clean syringes, access to naloxone, and safe sex practices.  Jesse plans to pursue a Masters in Social Work with a focus on harm reduction therapy.
